We’re thrilled to announce our newest franchise owner, Adam Baker, who will be launching Overtime Athletics in Columbus, Ohio!

Born and raised in Central Ohio, Adam is a proud Buckeye through and through. From a young age, he immersed himself in sports—from football and track & field to sailing and skiing. He developed a competitive spirit early, and his athletic journey is full of grit and impressive accomplishments—including being the youngest person inducted into the Westerville South High School 1,000-pound club at just 13 years old!

Adam’s passion for athletics didn’t stop after high school. He and his father built a nationally competitive powerlifting team that welcomed student-athletes of all backgrounds, including those with physical and mental challenges. For Adam, the real win wasn’t just in state championships—it was in creating a place where kids could belong, build confidence, and strive to be their best.

Professionally, Adam spent 25 years in commercial construction, managing over $70 billion worth of complex projects across the country. Known for his leadership in scheduling, risk management, and high-profile builds, Adam built a reputation for finding solutions and never settling for “good enough.”

Now, Adam is bringing his passion, discipline, and heart for young people to the Overtime Athletics family. With a desire to step away from construction and do something with real, tangible impact, Adam is excited to lead OTA in Central Ohio—creating dynamic, inclusive youth sports programs that shape not only athletes but confident young leaders.

Adam lives in Westerville with his wife, Kellé, and their two sons. Both boys have followed in his athletic footsteps, competing in football, sailing, and track & field. Adam remains deeply involved, coaching strength and throws at the high school and collegiate levels.
