Overtime Athletics is excited to announce Tim Watson as our newest franchise owner, bringing OTA to Lincoln, Nebraska!

Tim’s passion for youth sports goes far beyond business. As a father of four boys — Ethan, Caleb, Cody, and Noah — he has spent countless hours coaching, watching, and supporting youth sports. He has seen firsthand the positive impact athletics can have on kids, families, schools, and entire communities.

“The leadership, teamwork, and confidence a kid can develop through sports makes everything so rewarding.”

Tim’s love of sports runs deep. He has visited every Major League Baseball ballpark at one point or another and has been a Nebraska football season-ticket holder since he was 10 years old — going on 36 years!

One experience that especially shaped Tim’s perspective was traveling with his son to Barrow, Alaska, where they had the opportunity to learn about youth sports and the important role athletics plays within the local community.

For Tim, that’s exactly what makes Overtime Athletics such a great fit. OTA is about more than teaching kids how to play sports. It’s about using sports to build confidence, develop teamwork and leadership, create friendships, and give kids a place to belong.

We’re thrilled to have Tim joining the OTA family and even more excited to see what he builds throughout Lincoln, Nebraska.
